Marcus, the army you propose is close to the one that I told you about the other night.
Mine is:
3 ancients 2 trog spearmen 2 swarmling warriors
1995 points.
I don't have as many units in mine, but the trog spearmen pack a little more punch than swarmling warriors.
My favorite 2000 point army for the lizzies is:
3 raptor pack 3 trog warriors 1 swarmling warriors 1 triceratops herd
1987 points.

All are very tough, but I like Marcus' 5" MC. I call it the SS. V. the DE speed is essential. My Orc solution is this: 2 Trolls 4 Crazed Goblins 3 Orc Swordsmen 1 Goblin Raiders. Oh wait, that's a different thread.

How about 13 Goblin Raiders and 1 Crazed Goblin? In all seriousness, how about a Big guys and little guys army? Little Guys 4 x Swarmling Warriors 2 x Hatchlings Big Guys Ancients Trike Herd T-Rex 1984 points And again everybody is fast except for the Herd which will catch up soon

Good build. I would definitely be more afraid of this army than the 3 Ancients version.

I am very sad that YMG missed an opportunity to include an excellent unit in this faction.
Giant Turtle Attack (4) 4/6 Defense 1/4 M-2.5 C-12 5G/4Y/3R Large, Fearsome
Just a good old fashioned mid-priced tank unit in the mold of Undead Zombie Trolls.
OK, so it's not the greatest thing at it really doesn't fit in with the faster Lizardmen faction. I wonder if we can find a place in BG for a cute, giant turtle? I mean, come on! It's a giant freaking turtle! Chad, give me a points cost for this fella!

A turtle is an amphibian, not a lizard. Save the Giant turtle for the frogmen faction. Make that faction cool and different from WHFB. I think Ral Partha had a turtle with a ballista on its back, which, IMHO would be freakin' awesome! Now I'm going to check out those Naga vikings, perhaps they will obviate this comment. Okay, I just checked it out, and it is totally cool, and has my vote for next faction for serious development consideration. Well, as soon as they mount a ballista on the back of the Turtle.

There could be an "expansion deck" in the future. It could add a few new unit cards for each army.

I proposed the very thing back in '09 but also suggested that the Command Card decks get an extra 10 cards to cater for 4,000pt+ armies. I'm not hopeful.

Dude, turtles are reptiles! In the hierarchy of the reptile world Amphibians find it offensive to be referred to as "lizards." They ask that you please refrain from the epitaph.
