Good luck and don't let the SFB players frighten you.  There actually really nice folks when not staring intensely at a hex map.

It was awesome and you all should have come.

You should therefore block out time for GenCon to make up for it.  We only had four people at the sword tournament...unacceptable!

Turnout at the Sword tournament (which Ultiville won, congrats!) was low but by all other measures it was a great Origins.  We sold a ton of stuff, mostly to new players and quite a few were really enthusiastic.  There were probably 50-60 entrants in our "win-the-deck" events, which is great.

The only big disappointment was hearing at the last minute from our distributor that Monsters & Mercenaries had hit a small snag and wouldn't be coming for another week or so.

Yeah, and the tournament was still a lot of fun, even with just four.  It was an awesome show Smiley

damn , if i had known there would be so few, I would have come to the sword tourney as it wouldn't have lasted as long as i thought, I didn't cause i had an event that would start in the middle of the sword tourney. Or at least what would have been the middle.

It still wasn't a short event because (IIRC) Darwin ran it as a round-robin.  If you'd been there it would probably have been a four-round event, which is still pretty chunky.  Smiley
