Im not new to the game but there are things ive never understood one of which is turning. For one do you have to turn the full MC of your unit or can it only be part also if you only use part can you use whats left on moving the same unit say forward. Also if theres a unit with C close and has just killd a unit being on the side flank or rear how dose that unit or how should tha unit be moved in close from there on. And one last thing not to do with turning, a unit with R range if no units are in range do they move the full MC or only as much until the other units in range?. Any help would be grand thanks edd

You can do a partial turn.  For example, let's say I have two units next to each other.  One is on Hold and the other moves L (or anything more than S) and wants to move up and then forward at an angle in front of the unit next to it.  I would move it forward S and then use whatever was left of my movement, turning in front of the other unit.

I'm not sure I understand the situation you're describing with the unit that's just killed another.  Can you give more details?

The third point is a bit of a gray area.  It used to be that it would move its full MC but there have been proposals to let players stop right at the moment they got into range.  For a casual game you can play it either way.

Really helpful thanks and on the second point its when pinching. One unit is engadged on the front and the side once the center unit that was pinched dies how should the one attacking from the side move. Dosnt have to be pinching just side attacking really

Units will move to get to the closest opponent in their front arc (or the closest opponent behind them if nothing is in their front arc).  This can involve a regular move, a turn, sideways movement, a reverse, a reform, or a combination thereof--whatever gets them the closest.  (Or, if another enemy unit is within final rush range the unit will just final rush.)
