Thanks for the heads up, Kevin. It looks like there are loads of options to get from Boston to Penn Station (some options a 10 minute walk away) and both buses and trains from there to Morristown Station (a 10 minute walk from the Hyatt.)

So I can get there about noon if I leave my house at 3 am to catch the 3:30 c&j to get the 6:00 megabus to get the 10:44 AM Morris & Essex #6621. Tongue
I am thinking I might not get there by noon.

Tim, I am a miserly bastard and would love to split a room but I do snore like a bulldozer.
I will have to rent a room myself unless somebody confirms in the next couple of days that I can get a bit of floor and a pillow and nobody hating me forever because I kept them up all night or banishing me from the room.

Ron:
If Marcus can't help you, you can stay with me and Steve.  I have an extra pair of earplugs I bought for camping if Steve needs them, chuckle.  I guarantee you won't be as bad a snorer as me and Steve have had before.

Marcus:

Tim,
Thanks for the quick reply. Smiley
Marcus called me at home, and I can crash at his house. If you guys really don't care about the buzzsaw then I might throw down some for the hotel and crash on your floor. So now all I have to do is decide if it is worthwhile to leave my house at 3am to be at the con by the 'crack of noon.' Tongue

Marcus, I can easily bring my green felt mats.  No problem.

You know I can bring mine Marcus.  So that's one more.  Also, did we ever get back that hard mat that Gull made for us last year?  We left it at council right?  Damn, where the hell did that thing go?  It was really good for us Jersey guys who play the monster games since it had an extension section.

Well I just got back from China to find out I passed all my Core exams.  Score!

I'm still 50/50 on whether I'll make the trip down.  It mainly depends onjet lag.  Unfortunately, it seems the Hyatt is sold out.  Does anyone have a spare bed at the Hyatt?  If I do come down, I'd do get down here thursday night and leave monday morning, but the first and last night could be spent elsewhere (ie a motel).

I'll bring a playmat as well.

Congrats Bohan on passing your exams!  I have a room at the Hyatt.  Most nights my wife will be there (and we'll keep it the two of us), but Sat. night she'll be staying in NYC with her parents.  If you want to stay in my room Sat. night you'd be welcome, though it's a single bed so we (= you) would need a cot.

Here's the header image I cooked up for the fliers that will be at the registration desk.  Everything was totally stolen from Kevin's tournament in February.  I was trying to squeeze in a combination of folks playing as well as images of the game itself.  Don't get too excited because the fliers are not in color...

So what is the tally of people coming from out of state? Would be nice if we could get about 15 or so people total in the tournament.  Thanks to Kevin and Ron for making the trip.  Marcus and I appreciate it.

Hey, regardless of how many people are there, I'm psyched to finally get to play in a multi-day tournament!  Smiley
