Can you give a unit a hold order with a unit objective? This could be useful for spearmen or skirmishers that want to get in another unit's face but not charge. Also, it would allow a unit to block another unit, but not get drawn into an unwanted attack. Kind of like a defensive half-back that is trying to prevent a reciever from slipping by while trying not to get bogged down by the offensive linemen.

Yes it could be useful; no you can't (legally) do it.  Smiley

Actually you can, it just only does something if your unit has a ranged attack (stand around, but shoot that guy if he's in range.)  I've occasionally used it for that; it can be helpful for focusing fire with crossbowmen in a stand and shoot build for example.

We've also been talking about changing it to be "get up in that guy's grill" but haven't yet come to any firm conclusion.
