This reminds me of the local papers today where all the concerned politicos were congratulating the willingness of people to set politics aside and get the bridge built. Now, I'm one of the biggest proponents of building this bridge, but there are a lot of very vocal and PO'd people who have fought this bridge every step of the way, and it has been an issue for almost 50 years (yeah, its been that long in coming). I can imagine how they felt when they read these comments. Back to the forum, this is a case of such comments actually being true, unlike the bridge comments.
