We here at YMG are looking for volunteers to help us out at Origins in July.  If you're going to be there and we might be able to convince you (with the right incentive) to lend us a hand, please let us know.

                Thanks. -Darwin

I'll be there every day.  15 minute drive Grin
I will be working the miniature hall info desk at various times with HMGS.  I'm slowly getting events lined up to play too.
What would you need help with?  Table space and time slots?  Or are you meaning booth work and/or demo work?

Basically we are looking for people to help teach attendees how to play BGFW.  We will be providing a daily meal stipend and taking our volunteers out to dinner on either Friday or Saturday night. If volunteers need a badge or hotel room we can arrange for that. We will also  have some BGFW swag for volunteers. We are looking for help on all four days of Origins, but we understand that volunteers may have limited availability.

I'm sorry that I can't be at Origins, but when you guy are in the Philly, NY, NJ area, please do not hesitate to call upon me. I had a blast hanging with Chad last time in NY. I still need to learn the game too. Tongue

I'm going to be at Origins for at least one day this year.  Is there a schedule of events for Battleground?

I'm going to be at Origins for at least one day this year.  Is there a schedule of events for Battleground?

Robert is trying to get the events schedule confirmed, but essentially it will be as follows:

Thursday and Saturday: "win the game" events, mainly aimed at beginners but not strictly limited to them, where we pair players up with the quick-start armies of a starter deck and they play.  The winner keeps the deck.  (Umenzi decks won't be used in these events.)

Sunday: Sword tournament. Players bring their own 2,000 point armies from any faction, using the core/elite rule.  Victory-points cumulative over rounds to determine the final victor.  Andrew Gross is undefeated at BGFW Sword tournaments...
