So I was totaling point values for various armies I still own in miniature gaming (Warhammer Fantasy and Epic 40K) and my girls wanted my to figure points for the decks we own for BGFW.

If my math is right I get the following totals:

Men: 10446 (reserve deck only)

Elves, Wood: 16464 (starter and reserve)

Dwarves: 11524 (reserve)

Orcs: 14955 (starter and reserve)

Undead: 13802 (starter and reserve)

Lizardmen: 11845 (reserve)

Monsters & Mercs: 15163 (reserve)

So we have something around 94,000 points of armies!  All for under $100.  No wonder I love this game.

PS.  Oldest daughter plays the Undead and Men.  Youngest daughter plays Elves and Lizardmen.  I have the Orcs and Dwarves.

The portability is a huge plus, but there is no denying that the ability to play so many factions for under $100 is the very definition of bang for the buck. Nicely done  Wink

Yes the portability is awsome, the entire game including the 32x38 playing surface, ruler and calculator fits into one of those over sized Ikea storage shoe boxes. Or you can dump it in one pocket of any day pack. Now if we could get the rules in standard 8.5x11 with a 10 point font I wouldn't have to take my glasses and a magnifying glass to look up rules.  Grin

It sure beats transporting my mere 4000 points of Warhammer Fantasy Ogres around.

I am in the process of typing the rules for my own use with 12 point font, my eyes are not so good either  Wink.  The idea was to add the errata and rules additions that have come out since Dark Elves.  If this is a NO NO let me know and I will cease and desist.

Unless it is a no-no, I would love a copy myself since I was thinking of doing the same thing. Until then, I am using the current rulebook blown up to 8.5 x 11 per page (I have no idea what font size that is) with the errata in the back.

It appears to be the same size as the booklet that comes with the Dark Elves faction i.e. ~ 3x5 although you can print "fit to page" or some such.

I have the rules printed at 8.5 x 11 in a loose leaf binder and they look good.

And a Hell of alot cheaper!! Plus you dont have to assemble & paint them, and get an $80 rulebook. Smiley

I never realized they were 3 x 5 because I never tried to print them, but I think hitting "fit to page" is easier then typing them up yourself. Then again typing up the rules would probably help you remember them.

My idea of typing them up (and probably Manchu8990's) was to insert the errata where they go, rather than at the back. But at this point I am probably just sticking them in the back and waiting for the next rulebook.

Oh that would be a good idea, but I'm just sticking them in the back as well.
