I am considering running a Battleground Tourney at this event.  It will be it's second year, and last year had a turn out of 300-400, I am told.  If you may attend and/or be willing to assist in running the event, please let me know.

If no one will attend/assist, I would entertain the idea of doing demos and rep'ing YMG at the show, instead.

I won't be able to make it, but I'd be glad to provide some Battleground goodies to support you.  What are you interested in doing?

Chad,
At this point, it's still up in the air.  I'm hoping to advertise it hard starting in January, and if I get any kind of response at all, I will push to run the Tournament.  If responses are lackluster, I will see about a demo space instead and maybe some one-off games.
Thanks for the reply and I'll keep you posted.

All folks in SoCal area!

It's quasi-official!  I will be running at least one demo of BG:HW, possibly two, and one demo of BG:FW at KingdomCom in April.
Dates and time are being reviewed and should be settled in short order.

I will have a single 8ft table running 4 players, but if I have a volunteer for assistance, I can run a 2nd table and add 1-4 more slots.  Please let me know if you're interested in helping out.  If anyone from Chad's gang or the groups in Albany/Schenectady, NY wish to spend some time in Sunny San Diego, drop me a line :-)

Chad, the main gateway to getting in was thru my local game group.  They have a table for historical game demos so I piped-up about BGHW and they liked the idea.  This will be the primary focus.

Since Alexander and Persia are final, can Chad answer if it will be any good presenting proxies of the cards and maybe even run a playtest game there like FFG is doing with their games at cons?

Cheers.

I know I would LOVE to see the Alexander and Persia factions.
I'm sure I could find players to play test as well.  Let me know if this is an option for this event.

Let me add, somewhat off topic, that people (esp. people who already know the game) are going to *LOVE* Alexander vs. Persia.

Right now, I have at least 2, if not 3, time slots set for this event.
I will also have the Macedonia vs. Persia play test set to show off at the event as well.
Several local players and a newbie have volunteered to assist in the testing here in San Diego (Vista), so I should have a VERY solid grasp on these forces for the Convention demos.

I recently purchased a couple decks and I'm eager to play but don't know any players here in San Diego. Let me know if you meet up before Kingdom Con.
I need to familiarize myself with the rules more.

I'm also interested in the historical decks you will be demoing at the con as well.

I have not heard of this con before, I can't promise anything but I might be able to bribe wifey to see her Mom in TJ and help out or demo on Saturday... I checked the web site www.kingdom-con.com and they don't have much listed.

I will have dealer and demo tables at this event.
I have one full-access 3-day pass for anyone who will volunteer to assist at the tables.
If you are interested, or know someone who can help, please let me know ASAP!
I have to confirm this within a week to guarantee the spots.

I plan to run the demos Friday night, but Saturday day and Sunday day I have 6 total slots I need help with... all other time will be open free time to enjoy the Con.

Please email if interested.

72-hours and counting!

If you can or are attending, please be sure to stop by the Your Move Games table.  Introduce yourselves!  I'd love to meet you in person!

Well, I'll call this Con a success.  There were about 300+ folks in attendance during the Friday and Saturday sessions I was present.  Demoed the game for about 15 new players.  Many showed interest and planned to stop into the local game nights.  Some folks with the game "packed away" seemed motivated to dig it out again.
Sorry I have no pictures... once the throng built, I had not a second for pee, drink, food, or photos.

On Sunday the 17th, I moved up to Los Angeles for the HMGS MiniWars convention.  Did another 5 demos there and saw 3 more folks get pretty excited about the game.  The Anaheim HMGS St. Crispin's Irregulars group has 10 guys in the midst of a Kingdoms campaign, so hopefully this will build their roster even further!!
