So by "Not to nitpick" you meant "Oh I'm gonna nitpick this thing into next month!"

Pretty sure attacks rate enough damage against my ego I'd never play a card I had to use before seeing the roll.  Tongue

Yeah, if I did it would be arrogant spite (even though I would have to play it in the M&C phase.)
'My ego has a 4 toughness and an Arrogant Spite card' has a certain ring to it IMO. Cheesy

As I was going through my briefcase o' death today I realized that I had my Siege prototype cards in it when I went to TotalCon. It would have been a rare opportunity to get some feedback from the 'greatest BG minds assembled.'

Sheesh, sometimes, I tell ya. Tongue

I guess I'll have to wait until council, but as I look at my near future obligations, I think going to Prague this fall is going to suck up all my spare cash. Unless Council of 5 nations wanted to be considered as referring to fin de siecle Europe instead, and be held in Prague. Cool

C'mon, Dave, you're such an awesome friend, don't fail me now.  Wink

I've ordered a couple of terrain packs through MFLGS, who knows when their distributors will get them in stock, but whenever I get them I'm going to mount them in one of two ways:
1. On foamcore like the stuff I had at TotalCon.
2. On felt, as per Lazyj's recommendation.

Lazyj felt the foamcore was too thick and ended up with the foamcore based units cantilevered off the edge of the terrain. I am ambivalent, does anyone else have an opinion? Did anyone at the con find the foamcore too thick with the unit bases? The advantage to going with a felt only backing is greatly reduced storage requirements.

I'm with Lazyj on this one.  Foamcore under the cards is great, but the terrain should be as flat as possible.

Except for the hills. Those should have as much scale slope as possible!  Wink
