What Niko said.  Cambridge is extremely safe, and you're on main roads the entire way.

Keep in mind you'll want to give an hour or more for that drive - Framingham is a bit out and it'd suck to be late due to getting lost!

No worries. I'd stay closer but all the prices would double.

Niko, My family and I will be staying at the Staybridge Suites in Burlington.  About how long do I want to give myself to get to the store on Sat morning?

There shouldn't be too much traffic on a Saturday, so I'd go with whatever Mapquest tells you the time will take (probably around 35 min?), but allow an extra 15 minutes (which you probably won't need) for parking, walking to the store and of course getting lost.

Also note that the games start at 11:00 AM SHARP.  Sign ups start at 10:15.  It might not be a bad idea to try to get there closer to 10:15 than 11--you'll have more time to socialize, grab something to eat, etc.

I've just booked for Saturday night at the Doubletree, right across the river and less than a mile away.  There is a separate room with a pull-out couch if someone would like to split the room with me.  Total cost is $205, but I expect to pay more than half.

I'm 90% certain to stay at a cheaper hotel further outside the city on Friday night, so I don't have to get up at some horrible hour to get to the store on time.

If anyone would like to split any or all of this with me, I'm entertaining offers.  I do not snore, and I prefer that you don't either.
