Is Your Move Games, Inc. going to attend PAX EAST in Boston?
I know the sommerville store will be representing, but what about you guys?

Will there be some BattleGround representation?
Any chance of seeing some Dark Elf stuff?
I'll only be there on Friday, I'm really hoping to see some battleground there!

We've partnered with the retail store (and its sister store).  Niko is going to be doing Battleground demos and running win-the-deck events and the store booth will handle sales.  I'm not sure yet whether I'll be able to make it personally, although I'm sure I'll stop by for at least a few hours.

Battleground was hosted by Niko's store, Pandemonium, and the demo area was actually hidden behind the booth because that's where all the right-sized tables were. Did y'all notice that there was another store booth on the other side of us by name of Battleground Games? Awkward!

They were at TotalCon also and I was a bit confused as the sign that I thought was for a BG event was actually for a RP game that they were running. I think we need to throw Lawyers, Guns, and Money at this problem.   Cool

So how was PAX?  We got an excellent battle report from a new player but I haven't heard anything else.  Niko, did you sell tons of Dark Elves?  And who is this Battleground Games company???  Smiley

We had a full day of successful demos on Saturday. I lost a match to a complete newbie - my elementalists killed two Hawkshold militia in the yellow and an archer in the red, but could only knock his last archer into the yellow before they died.

I gave away a total of 4 decks to demo winners and was responsible for the sale of a complete faction to another n00b, but I was stuck behind the sales booth out of sight, so I have no idea how things went over there...

Sunday was much slower-  several false starts from interested parties who couldn't commit as much time as they'd expected to a demo game. But I did get my butt handed to me by Velc!

Sadly not having me doing demos the full con again (heh) hurt us a bit and I don't think Battleground sales were amazing.  I also forgot the banner for Saturday and the con setup was really bad for locating demos.  Jaime did a great job, but this was not an easy con to demo at, which we noticed for all our store demos, and I was too busy to give as much help as I'd hoped.  I'm going to make some suggestions to them about how demos could be better set up in the future.

Didn't know if anyone would catch the Warren Zevon quote. Grin Grin Grin

BTW - I heard Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner on MUZAK at a Chiplotes the other day. Very cool, but very wierd.
