But those rare times are so very painful that they stand out for all eternity.

Forgive him Ajax, he gets lonely sometimes Wink

Back to the topic - any thoughts on using a Zombie Troll line with a few additions and backing them up with Ghoul Packs for flanking purposes?

 Cheesy
Ah, yes, the first winter storm has been blowing its way through MN; our comrades there 'bouts won't be getting out much 'til next Spring, eh?

Andrew has an interesting theory about putting the Ghoul Packs In Front of the line. His idea is that you want the GP to take that first Courage check early. Deep Yellow makes the Ghouls particularly sticky and used properly, very destabilizing to your enemy.

Hey you have to reward the spammer if he actually does some math, and makes his post semi-related to the topic at hand.  Wink

As to the weather it is indeed that time of year when we go crazy because we see the snowflakes approaching like a deadly horde.

Your other alternative with Ghouls is just to pass that first rout check, which Mike did with alarming regularity last time I played against Undead. Ghouls that don't rout make for a very bad day for the enemy.

Oh yeah, Ghoul Packs that pass that first rout can be downright mean.  I've played games with Chris where his Ghouls hardly ever passed (which is the way it should be) and I've played games where almost every one of the suckers succeeded in their courage checks.  The games where they succeeded where pretty darned tough.

Don't know what you're talking about Marcus, ghouls never fail rout tests... at least not in my experience. Cool

That was also the game where we let the undead player pay a CA to make a unit fearsome. Poor Lazyj was facing a horde of fearless fearsome fanatighouls.

I'm all for giving teeth to weenies.
