I do still have issues with the last stand scenario, or actually with the map. rather than have a little redoubt you've got this fort with thr front already pierced. I think I'm just going to ignore the the fort and play as though it wasn't there. There is no point in getting suckered into a fool's gambit. In fact, I'm tempted to bring the HE, except for the fact that I only get 1700 points and that makes them even harder to make a line with.

Okay, so if I go with High Elves it's gonna look like this:
4 High Elf Chariots
1 Elder Blade Ranger
1 High Elf Knight
1693 points.

They are all going to die. That is their job. The question is; can they do enough damage to win the game?

Why doesn't someone else other than me play the Umenzi?

P.S. Rush hasn't even touched the Umenzi for months, based on his session reports... Undecided

There's been talk of starting a Kingdoms Campaign in our group and the Umenzi are one of my top choices.  So I'll be touching the tribesmen lots.

*shivers*

Oh that makes me feel so... dirty...

 Cheesy

I like the Umenzi a lot (just not the way Rush does with all his... "touching") and have played them somewhat recently.

The problem is that I want to play all the factions, and there's just no time! I haven't picked up my beloved Hawks in ages! But I see a lot more Umenzi in my future as I have become a disciple of the "Death and Flatness" gospel of Rush.

Gah!

As much as I love elephants, I vow never to take them unless it was a bigger game or I was just feeling bored of Chosen.

Council of 5 Nations write up featuring some Umenzi games here:
http://yourmovegames.com/forum/index.php/topic,1703.0.html

There was some good Umenzi play and there was some bad Umenzi play.  But Mumakil sure had a good time!
