Another Tuesday demo that did as well as my one last week. Had about 5 or 6 people on and off checking out our game with 2 or 3 that have been on the fence watching the whole thing. I played the dwarves for the first time (finally) and my buddy played the Undead, this was his first game.
We actually came right down to it at the end. I was left with my Ballista and some Axemen, he was left with 2 skeletal bowmen and an abomination. Once he took out my axemen finally, we called it. And he will probably pick up at least one army now while he holds on waiting for the Lizzies.
I then played a quick 1000 pointer against one of the other guys. This time I picked the Elves and he grabbed the Humans. This was a bit more lethal on my part. Wolfkin are great when they arent' killed on the free strike. I was able to get them to run, auto rally, and then it allowed them to pinch a unit of spearmen with my swordsmen. He tried charging my archers with his light cav and got mowed down. And my other archers caused his peasant mob to run screaming on the first turn. He figured out what he did wrong though and said he'd have it next game
All in all another great demo, about 4 hours of work but is it really work when you get to play this great game?
