I just don't think its necessary, but hey, if people want to push Kevin's pile of money a little closer to me, who am I to argue.

Heh.

The primary benefit of regeneration isn't in heavy grinding.  It's in telling the opponent "Don't even bother to shoot at me unless you have a phenomenal about of firepower."

(And yes, targeting the Trolls with the ballista in this game was a major tactical blunder.)

I'm of the opinion that Trolls fit into the same category as Bear Packs, Hastadi, and Dwarf Battleaxemen:  definitely on the lower end, but still work taking under certain situations  (For example, needing something that moves 5" and is tougher than the scrawny Wolf Riders.).  Regarding Championship, last summer Trolls became able to regenerate into the green.  That rule will be in place.  Other proposals will be used only if they get stamped despite my no vote.

Translation:  sorry Mike, but you're going to have to earn it.  Cheesy

Ay Carumba!  Dwarf Battleaxemen on the lower end?  Sheesh!  I think they flat out rock in many situations.  The only place where they are questionable is against Elves.  Variance of opinions there for sure.  I think of them as a slow moving Bear Pack that you can play command cards on.  While they are not quite as durable as the Bears, you do pay almost 60 points less for them.

I actually agree with this one.  On the rare occasion that I play a Dwarf Army I tend to view them as the staple line infantry.  That +1 strength really helps punch through opposition units while the rest of your army is grinding down the enemy and give them some pinching opportunities.
