Should I sleeve my Battleground cards?

I am just wondering if sleeving my unit cards would be a good idea. Do the cards show age/smearing since you have to always mark on them, or are they really durable?

I sleeve my command cards, as repeated shuffling was starting to beat them up. But regular cards will typlcally last for a very, very long time, at least if you remember to erase your cards fully when a battle is over. (If you leave a mark on your card for a couple of months before remembering to erase it, it'll never fully go away.)

Absolutely sleeve them - it's the only way to fly.

Do the dry erase markers wipe off of the sleeves easily?

Yeah, plus sleeves are only about 2 cents each.

I bought a bunch here because they are cheap and have flat rate shipping so if you were going to buy something else anyway, it's like free shipping.

The trick with sleeves is to not erase with your greasy fingers or they become difficult to write on. Kevin is right about the cards as well, if you leave the dry-erase on too long it becomes problematic to erase. I keep a bottle of the spray stuff for dry-erase boards and that works well if I have a bad smudhe or something. You can also scribble on them with the marker to get them wet with the solvent again and then use a cloth or tissue to wipe it off.
If I'm not using my foam bases I don't use sleeves. I've finally bought a second orc deck as after five years of heavy use. I don't particularly take care of my decks and the orcs lasted that long. I'm not rich or anything, but I do have enough money that I can spend the occasional $$$ towards supporting BG.
