Hello Everyone,

 Just joined up having purchased both Battleground Historical Games: Punic Wars. Have always been a big Barca fan (Hannibal) so this way right up my alley! Play many Historical Miniature ancient rulesets, and this will be great when we just have a couple hours to play. Been miniature game playing since 1980 and board gaming since 1974. Look forward to trading tips on the game with all of you,

Welcome aboard!  Carthage is an awesome faction.  At the moment Rome and Carthage are the only Historicals, but soon (probably early 2012) Alexander the Great and Persia will make a showing.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.  I sat down with some historical guys (one of which who owns minis older than me, literally!) and got their insights on them.  I ended up starting to play Field of Glory just to see how they did it. (I didn't agree with all of FoG's interpretations, but it did offer some insight).

The same day I bought my first BG decks I also bought FoG. Haven't actually looked at it yet...Not sure where it is...
