Game conventions are one of the best ways for us to share Battleground with the world.  That's where a lot of serious gamers learn about new games which they then spread to their own groups and communities.  If you'd like to help promote Battleground at the game shows you attend, I want to help.  Here are a couple of ideas:

Sell Battleground for Fun and Profit!

Scott Mosher (aka Hamilcar) and more recently the New Jersey Crew have gone beyond "just" demoing Battleground and have actually sold it.  If you want to represent YMG at a show I'll provide you with product which you can sell at no risk -- just return what you don't pay for.  You'll pay 40% of retail (what a distributor pays) and I'll also provide some decks you can give away in "win the deck" tourneys...the best way to get newbies to become addicts.

Run a Win the Deck event

It's the perfect event -- easy to do, totally scalable, and how much more fun is it to say, "Try out this cool game and win a free deck?" than just, "Try out this cool game"?  If you're going to run the event, we'll provide the decks as prize support...along with some other cool giveaways.

Fine, do it your own way!

If you have another type of event you'd like to run, let me know and we'll talk about how I can best support it.

For those of you on the fence about this, I encourage you to give it a shot.  Chad is excellent at providing product and advice.  And the compensation for sales is excellent.  How can you beat getting more than 50% for each product you sell?  I thought I had misheard Chad the first time he told me this.  I may certainly try this again in the near future.
