I think it would be an interesting faction flavor if you had a faction that didn't have Red damage boxes, or maybe just one, like the ghouls, but have the rest of the damage boxes with a normal color array.

Or a really wonky unit that got more dangerous as you damaged it, like the hydra except the boxes went in reverse order, so they started out in the red and taking morale checks for each lost red, and then went to yellow where they gained some courage and an attack, and finally into the green where they were at absolute frenzy until they were eliminated.

Ironically, gull, I was thinking the exact same thing on the second part just last night.

That is in-genius, its the incredible hulk! As you smack david banner around he gets stronger and meaner....I like this, would be wicked on the field, what else could it represent besides the un-jolly green giant?

Ha! It's the Keebler Elves faction - and their monster unit is the Jolly Green Giant who turns into the Hulk! I love it!  Cheesy

Determination would work well against this ability. This would increase the frequency with which you do exactly one damage, resulting in many rout checks.

And Lizardmen would spend the majority of the game with (+1) +0/+0 and +2 Cge.

Yeah it would be super swing-y. You know it might work best on some faction like that Goblin one I was kicking around a while back. Where it was almost expected that they fail early, but tighten up late.

It has some promise as a highly unique faction trait. But it would probably be very hard to balance out right.
