IMHO - the tiny gap rule was an attempt to create a problem that resulted in a bigger headache. Yes, a unit routing through your lines is a problem and you would like to do something about it, but if you knew it would be a problem the time to do something about it is before it becomes a problem. I would like to see the unit routed through take a morale check, if the check is passed then the unit commanders dealt with the problem, if they fail then that unit either routs or remains, but has its SO changed to Hold unless it already was on Hold, in which case nothing adverse happens. I'm just spitballing here, what do others think?
