 Grin
(Opening scene)
The Lord of Dusk gazes over the battlefield and prepares to put some smack down on the enemy. He opens his Spell locker and brings out the awesome "(generic) Attack Spell"!
(Fadeout)

What? No Awesomely named attack spell? The Elementalists have Fireball and Lightening, Umenzi the Death Curse.

So, completely on my own, I would like to have a bit of a contest to Name that Attack Spell! Plus a brief description.

My initial proposal - Lightbane. Dark Lightening with a sonic capper.

While I approve of this contest, I'll note that they don't have a named spell because their attack stats are the same as printed on the card with it, and they already have a wordy ability, not due to oversight on my part.

I'm going to recuse myself from this contest; having named everything official in the faction, it seems in poor taste to attempt the unofficial naming as well!

I kind of figured there was a reason. Didn't mean to imply that there was a lapse on your or anybody else's part.

Hey, it's a fun contest - give it your best shot. I'd be interested in your mental characterization of the spell. Grin

Sort of like the Lashmistresses' Spell Attack - I call it the 'darkmagic whips!'
A darker version of Wonder Woman's Lasso.

Unfortunately no - lest I be overcome with "glares of the wife" myself. I will be calling you though so we can plot and plan about the rest of the weekend.
